We are running a programme of free, accessible community sessions at Bristol Cooperative Gym over May and June 2023.
These free sessions can help you discover new ways to move, feel better and meet others who are doing the same.
We hope that this will allow more people to access our community gym space in an affordable and inclusive way.
These sessions will be suitable if you:
- have found it difficult to access exercises spaces
- are new to exercise or gym classes
- want to get back into exercise after a break
- would benefit from a supportive and inclusive environment
- are 16 years old and over
All fitness levels and abilities are welcome, and there is no specific ‘criteria’ for entry. Please sign up if you feel these sessions will benefit you.
Class information
More details of what the sessions include will be announced soon.
These community sessions are completely free, and led by experienced, qualified coaches.
They will be held during weekdays at Bristol Co-operative Gym, St. Anne’s House, Brislington, Bristol BS4 4AB.

Accessing sessions
To access the sessions you will need to register on Team Up (our booking system) and complete a short health questionnaire.
When the calendar of classes is confirmed we will email you details of the schedule.
After June, we’ll ask anyone who attended to complete a short feedback survey.
Your feedback will help us to make community sessions an ongoing, long-term offering at Bristol Co-operative Gym, instead of a short trail.
Thanks for your support and we hope to see you there!
