Session content

“Tight hamstrings” is a common complaint, but this apparent hamstring tightness can have many origins – stiffness, weakness or injury in the bottom of the foot, calf, hamstring, hip flexor, abdominal and lower back muscles, as well as postural causes and poor movement patterning.

In this session we will try various approaches to see what makes a difference to you, working towards greater flexibility and understanding of movement. We will mobilise, strengthen and stretch the appropriate muscles. You will feel less tense and will be able to access new positions that will let you train more safely and effectively.
