This session was developed in response to members who wanted a chance to train in the daytime, and the format was refined so it would be suitable for parents of young children who wanted to be able to drop in and out without missing too much. It is based on our most popular session, the Strength Circuit.
When you come in, the workout will be written up on whiteboards. It will have two parts:
- A warm-up sequence
- A workout
The workout will consist of three movements that complement each other:
- something to build strength in the lower body
- something to build strength in the upper body
- something to improve movement quality
You are encouraged to move through these movements at your own pace, supporting other members and slowly increasing the load in a way that fits with the programming / your targets / guidance from your coach.
The workout itself is intended to be done in under an hour, so you can be recovered and able to get on with whatever your afternoon involves without too much of a rush.
